Throughout the year, Cingulan Space has been supporting an amazing group of young STEM students from Yass High School in the CSIRO Generation STEM program. The program is a first of its kind in Yass and the region.

Cingulan Space staff provided the STEM students with guidance, support and mentorship in developing a solution to a flooded road problem faced by the Yass community.  The students were guided through the process of investigating the problem, creating solution options and then developing a solution.

The huge year-long efforts of the students culminated in an impressive hands-on demonstration of the wireless sensor solution at the Showcase event in Queanbeyen, attended by key CSIRO staff and the NSW Minister for Skills, TAFE and Tertiary Education The Hon. Steve Whan MP, who was so impressed with their passion and achievements that he spoke to the project and each of the students in NSW Parliament. Congratulations to the amazing student team on your achievements!
